• The presenter will use a commonly encountered scenario—the situation he found himself in, quite early in his career—and use that as a starting point for the entire presentation
• Everything that will be presented was live at some part in the presenter's work-life, and will therefore be proof of concept

Overview

• Basic features of Excel that one can learn step by step
• A free offering—and a practical method—to help people learn Excel
• Example of a hypothetical scenario and the setting up of a tracking sheet
• Using some of the features of Excel during the setting up of the tracking sheet
• Theoretical indication of the reports that can be imagined for the hypothetical scenario
• Showcasing of over a dozen consolidated reports that can be generated from the simple tracking sheet
• Indication of the possibilities of data consolidation from a single data sheet
• Formatting of tables for better presentation
• Some examples of how the presenter uses Excel in his daily life (unconnected with the world of production!)

Focus

• The  focus of the webinar will be on using simple, logical thinking to build what we need from a single Excel sheet in any given situation
• The focus will NOT be on which formulae are to be used and why—these are things that one will always need time to learn
